Sewer Sample Bottle Holder

Part of my monthly tasks as a Project Facilitator at the Monterey Bay Aquarium involves safely sampling the two main sewer pits. Previously, this was done by strapping the sample bottle to a wire with electrical tape. After the sample was taken, removing the tape from the sample bottle that was just dipped in the sewer water proved to be a difficult (and somewhat nasty) task, as you could imagine. So I went got creative and designed and created a simple bottle holder. The new bottle holder is designed to securely hold the bottle during sapling, allow the lid to be replaced, then let the users pull the bottle out of the holder with ease. The sample bottle has been used for over a year without breaking or requiring a new print. It has eliminated the wasted tape and saved me a lot of time during sampling!
